1. Information We Collect

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, device type, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.

Notification preferences. If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver alerts. You can revoke this at any time through your browser settings.

• Process Boost credit purchases and manage your account

3. Third-Party Services

LiveTube integrates with the following third-party services:

• YouTube API Services — to discover and embed live streams. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Kick API — to discover and embed live streams from Kick.
• Vercel Analytics — for anonymous, aggregated usage metrics.
• Stripe — for payment processing of Boost credits. Stripe handles all payment data directly; we never store your card details.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Session cookies. We use cookies to maintain your authentication session if you are signed in.

Local storage. We use browser local storage to save your display preferences (such as layout mode, notification settings, and keyboard shortcut configuration). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
• Event data (streams, clusters, AI summaries) is archived after 72 hours and may be retained in aggregate form for analytics.
• Analytics data is aggregated and retained indefinitely in a form that cannot identify individual users.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all communications, secure authentication tokens, and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to restrict processing.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
